Oil Painting
Anger?

Anger?

This is a new oil painting of a portrait I did. I’ve been experimenting with different brushes and smudging techniques, to make a part of people’s bodies and faces blurry. I do this because, in my experience, peoples looks and disabilities change over time, and often very radically. The blurriness of my paintings are a refection of that non-fixed bodily comportment that we are all in. You shouldn’t go through life counting on things being the same over all time, because over all, they technically aren’t. Sometimes you have to compassionately embrace the chaos of life!

I wonder, what expression do you think is on her face? This painting is available at an original canvas of 12 x 12, and is available here.
